Pennsylvania man Brian Lynch arrested for kidnapping, raping six-year-old boy

A Pennsylvania man was arrested on Sunday, May 5, 2013, after authorities say he confessed to kidnapping and raping a six-year-old boy from his front yard. Brian Timothy Lynch, 45, of Henry Clay Township, Pennsylvania is accused of taking the unidentified, victim with a 17-year-old, possible accomplice, to his home where they played video games. Pennsylvania State Police Trooper Stefani
Plume said in a press conference that Lynch was a neighbor to the child and knew his family.

The boy's father noticed his son missing from his front yard and notified police. An Amber Alert was immediately issued.

After Lynch and the 17-year-old, finished playing video games at Lynch's residence, they went to an ice cream parlor then took a walk on a nearby bike trail. Authorities say that after the walk, Lynch took the child to his vehicle where he was raped. Lynch then, allegedly took the victim to a park and left him alone. The child victim was found at approximately 1:55 a.m., Sunday.

Lynch faces a number of sex-related charges including rape, kidnapping and unlawful restraint. He is currently in the Fayette County Prison held on $250,000 bond.
