Hailey Owens case: Video interview with eyewitness who saw Craig Wood allegedly abduct child

The Associated Press released a video that not only shows Craig Wood's Missouri home where authorities discovered the deceased body of 10-year-old Hailey Owens, but also includes an interview with one of the last people to see the child alive: Carlos Edwards.

Edwards and his wife watched in a panic as a gold truck approached the child then pulled her into the vehicle, before speeding away. If it weren't for the Edwards' fast actions, as well as the rescue attempt by Ricky Riggins, we may never know Hailey Owens' fate, and Craig Wood could still be free to teach in Missouri's public schools.

Though we all mourn the loss of Hailey Owens and are saddened that the quick thinking actions of the witnesses weren't enough to save her, there is slight comfort in knowing that her murderer will hopefully be brought to justice.
