Myra Lewis case update: SUV taken as evidence, mother Ericka Lewis arrested, press conference (videos)

There are new developments in the case of Myra Lewis. Myra Lewis is a 2-year-old girl who was reported missing on Saturday, March 1, 2014. An Amber Alert was issued and search teams have scoured the immediate vicinity surrounding her home; the last place she was seen. While updates regarding evidence in the case have been few, and there have been no public announcements regarding Myra Lewis' whereabouts, there are new, breaking developments in the case.

Myra Lewis Missing 2-Year-Old


In the video report below, you can see an SUV that was taken away from the area on March 7, 2014. The SUV is seen in the video with evidence tape on it. The role the SUV plays in Myra Lewis' disappearance remains unclear. Other unconfirmed reports say that authorities were seen with K-9s and digging equipment surrounding the area.

On March 7, 2014, Myra Lewis' mother, Ericka Lewis, was arrested on charges she violated her probation by carrying a weapon. Ericka Lewis is reportedly a felon who was prohibited from carrying or owning a weapon. It is unclear what Ericka Lewis' previous charges are.

A press conference in the case is scheduled fro Sunday, March 9, 2014. Stay tuned for further information.
